As an Account Executive at Impactaris, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with small businesses. You will act as the first point of contact for potential clients, helping them understand how Impactaris’ marketing solutions can address their specific challenges and drive their success. Your role involves everything from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and transitioning clients to our internal teams for ongoing support.

Remote or Hybrid (Our flexible approach means you can work from anywhere, though some overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) is preferred for team collaboration and client meetings.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and connect with small businesses that could benefit from Impactaris’ marketing solutions, using a combination of networking, cold outreach, social media, and referrals.


  • Sales Presentations: Conduct discovery calls and deliver compelling presentations tailored to the specific needs and challenges of each potential client.


  • Pipeline Management: Organize and manage your sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up with leads, consistent communication, and accurate forecasting of potential deals.


  • Negotiation & Closing: Work with potential clients to negotiate terms that are mutually beneficial, ensuring their goals and budgets are met. Close deals and ensure a smooth transition to internal teams for onboarding.


  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and maintaining open communication throughout the sales process.


  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with our marketing, creative, and account management teams to ensure that client expectations are met once deals are closed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We care more about your passion for helping small businesses and your ability to build relationships than formal qualifications. While experience in sales is helpful, we’re open to anyone who’s ready to learn and contribute to our mission.


What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.


  • Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with small business owners and decision-makers.


  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and leads simultaneously.


  • Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.


  • A desire to help small businesses thrive, with an understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While no formal qualifications are required, the following would be beneficial:

  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales, especially within the marketing, digital services, or technology industries.


  • Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce to manage your sales pipeline efficiently.


  • Knowledge of digital marketing services such as SEO, social media marketing, PPC, or email marketing.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

While no formal qualifications are required, the following would be beneficial:


  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales, especially within the marketing, digital services, or technology industries.


  • Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce to manage your sales pipeline efficiently.
